Join in the annual celebration of healthy, ethical, and compassionate living in Melbourne. Peruse
through the marketplace of more than 100 stallholders and activities offering vegan-friendly
products, sample some of the yummy food on offer, be informed about vegan and environmental
lifestyle choices at one of the many talks and seminars, or maybe even meet your perfect match
in speed dating.

You don’t have to be a vegan or vegetarian to join in the fun; we invite all
members of the community to join in this day, so don’t forget to bring your friends and family!

The World Vegan Day Melbourne 2011 festival features an eclectic mix of Melbourne’s best live music talent.

The festival is headlined by electro -rockers 8 Bit Love. Straight off their brilliant performance at the PARKLIFE festival, 8 Bit Love are ready to bring their bangin’ live show, full of enthusiastic dance beats and harshly distorted guitars to the festival.

Also on the bill are The Sweaters who capture the grit, grunge and soul of Melbourne through their powerful ballads, raucous riffs and straight up rock ‘n roll.

Lamarama bring their good time tunes full of folk, drum n' bass, hip hop and indie and Salt Lake City will captivate the crowd with their cinematic, ambient, jazz-tinged pop rock music.

Fine troubadour Jason Lowe, indie dreamers Little Sailor and progressive pop band Red Deer round up the line-up.

We are also lucky to have DEJA, fresh from supporting The New York Dolls spinning tunes and providing awesome DJ sets throughout the day.
