Anyone in this Country that doesn't own a house,

can "legally be declared" or "stated" to be

“Homeless” !!

Hi Arthur, I can't answer all these questions in ways that can explain your experiences, witness and other views. In terms of the homeless I have walked among in the dankest and deepest parts of the night, these people are not part of any industry, or people who have the option of a home, let alone anyone signing off a reference for them to secure a rental - none of the folk I have met on the streets in the deepest, darkest dank are 'obese' or living off the fat of the land.

I am sure there are what you deem 'rorters' everywhere, however they are not the people I see, and if a few poor folk, rather than homeless folk, slip in for some tucker, good luck to them, I don't begrudge them. Arthur, I haven't seen what you've seen, I see the poorest, most vulnerable, and people who are so affected that pscyhosocial counselling, support and camaraderie are needed.

The Obesity problem you refer to I am fully aware of, however this is not an issue with the homeless, maybe with our poorest and the junk that is shoved down their throats.

In terms of what you describe as 'AVI' well I don't know what goes on in your part of Australia however others tell me otherwise - anyone poor would like to move on when empowered with the capacity to do so - I think we are too harsh on the most vulnerable of peoples and often from a meritocratic view of the world much appears to be the case to people - many poor folk accuses even their own of various apathies, excesses, laziness, and living at the discretion of philanthropy, however this is a web of despair. I don't think there exists an AVI industry even though I believe there is an industry of those who benefit from it and carry on in ways as if they are helping others when actually they keep them caught up in struggles of rising above their lot - and then there are those who impact authority into peoples lives which is demeaning. Yeah sure Arthur there are always some who delude themselves by working over systems thinking they are accruing benefit for little effort when effect they only cheat themselves and keep themselves dependent.

In terms of any political affilation by myself - I am not part of any political party - I helped others start political causes, and the dream of various political influences that in time, be it a generation, that will erode monopoly politics. I've tried to help along others where they've wanted me to walk alongside them however I often step back and let them move forward with it or not - some happens and some doesn't. Along the way the helping of others and the spawn of various campaigns is the great achievement, as the big goals are not that easy to achieve in a cultural sweep and need numbers to make a tide.

In terms of the Yindjibarndi I do as much as I can - I was one of the first to get the facts out into the mainstream media, in terms of their struggles with FMG - and from this in December of last year there has been much awareness raising. It is strange for me that you brought up the Yindjibarndi up in this email because it was only hours ago I had rung Michael Woodley and others to speak to them about an article I am writing - I write for various media and for The National Indigenous Times and I wrote a couple of pieces on them for this week's edition, however I push as hard as I can to have people rise to the occasion and together we make a difference. I can't put online the things I've done in the background, however if we ever meet someday, I'll speak about them. In terms of the Kimberley I do what I can and those up there know that I stand alongside with them, however I am one person, not a political party, not a parliamentarian, not a broker of various influence, however I do what I can. Pick up The National Indigenous Times when it comes out this week, and pick up the current edition and go to the feature article - the battles are myriad and the trenches many.

We agree that many ores and various deemed resources should stay in the ground where it belongs.

I have three solutions to the homeless problem for the young 1.Army 2.Air Force 3.Navy that will keep them off the streets and stop them robbing houses and cars.
but they won't want that because you can't take Drugs and you have to work and they will have to do as they are told!
