There are currently two major political trials going on in the Australian court system. Firstly there are the 16 pro-Palestine protesters who are on trial for their participation in a demonstration against the Israeli owned Max Brenner chocolate shop. They are facing fines of tens of thousands of dollars for the 'crime' of 'trespassing in a public place.' The other is the Occupy trial - a case which is attempting to defend our legitimate right to public civil disobedience.
Students for Palestine brings you an evening of Pro-Palestinian messages of solidarity including a video contribution by Noam Chomsky.
