Longtime anti-war activist Ciaron O'Reilly is presently awaiting prosecution for blocking a dozen U.S. troop carriers accessing the Shoalwater Bay military area for the recent Talsiman Sabre 09 exercises

The action was one of nonviolent resistance to the escalating U.S./Australian war on the people of Afghanistan.
Ciaron will reflect on the nature of the escalating Af/Pak War and draw upon three decades of his experiences withdirect nonviolent disarmament actions anti-war resistance. Ciaron's presentation will be followed by discussion..
