Democracy protests have been taking place in Bahrain for four weeks. The protesters are determined to continue until they win freedom and democracy, as the movements in Egypt and Tunisia have done.
A renewed crackdown on the protests has been launched this week by the government of Bahrain, including the arrival of hundreds of troops from Saudi Arabia. On Wednesday, tanks surrounded protesters in the capital Manama to try force the protests out of the streets.
Join this protest in Brisbane to show your solidarity with the people of Bahrain and their demands for freedom and democracy.
