This is the story about the biggest weapons of mass destruction ever created. It is about the people who use them, more importantly, it is about the people who fight them. The film juxtaposes the political backdrop of the atomic age against the emerging peace movement against it, charting a history from 1941 to present day. It also frames the nuclear issue within the wider context of global justice.
The film was made by 2 UK based individuals in an effort to raise awareness on issues grossly under represented by the mainstream media. It has been selected and screened at over 11 film festivals worldwide and won one award for 'Best Documentary Feature'.
One of the directors of the film is currently in Australia and will be present at this screening.
