The forum will feature Kathy Newnam, member of the Revolutionary Socialist Party and a long time activist in the abortion rights and women's liberation campaigns, who is active in the campaign in Queensland to drop the abortion charges against the Cairns couple. Why do legal, financial and ideological barriers to abortion remain today - so many years after the women's liberation movement won the fight for abortion rights? Regardless of all of the arguments from those on the anti-life side of the abortion issue, one clear and distinct fact has always remained unchanged and unalterable on this issue and it that once a female has been determined by a medical official to be pregnant (a.k.a. with child), ANY PREDETERMINED and PRE-PLANNED willful termination of that pregnancy is by its definition....PREMEDITATED MURDER. This is probably the most horrific and inhumane actions that the United States has legalized since 1973 and I have no doubt that America will be brought to justice for each and every one of these murders.
