STATE FAREWELL FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE FIGHTER FAITH BANDLER

Family, friends, members of parliament and distinguished guests gathered in Sydney to mourn the loss of a national treasure. A state funeral was held for Ms Faith Bandler in the University of Sydney’s Great Hall today... to honour the life and legacy of a remarkable woman. ANOTHER MARATHON – ANOTHER SUCCESS FOR IMP RUNNERS

Rachel Baker was unlucky not to run in last year's New York Marathon. The runner from Elcho Island in the NT suffered a leg injury preventing her from taking part - but just like the Indigenous Marathon Project logo reads: Run, Sweat and Inspire. And Rachel Baker certainly did that in Tokyo.

RIVER RED GUM PROJECT KEEPS TITJIKALA TIDY AND BEAUTIFUL

On Friday this week, the tiny community of Titjikala will represent the Northern Territory at the 2015 Keep Australia Beautiful,  National Tidy Towns Awards to be held in Tasmania. Not only is Titjikala "the tidiest town" in the Territory but the community is also embarking on a successful bush regeneration program.
