From climate change to asylum seekers, from marriage equality to protecting national parks, you and thousands more have joined with us to take action on the issues that matter most.

With less than 100 days to go until the election, we Greens are determined to expand the debate beyond the spin of the old parties.

But this campaign is at risk of becoming a well-funded slanging match between the old parties while the big issues that matter, and the millions of Australians who care about them, get ignored.

That's why we need Australian Greens Leader Christine Milne in the televised Leaders Debates.

As part of the agreement to form government, the Greens together with the Independent MPs asked Labor to establish a Leaders Debate Commission. The role of the commission would be to set the dates and structure of debates during elections. So far they still have not fulfilled this commitment.

Australians deserve to hear from the Greens Leader Christine Milne in the debates this election.

More than 1.6 million Australians voted Green at the last election, and the Greens have played a crucial role in this parliament. Because of the Greens, Australia now has a price on pollution and a clean energy fund, kids can access free dental care as part of Medicare and marriage equality is closer than it has ever been.

Leaders' debates are critical for voters to hear about each party's priorities for Australia's future.

Please add your name to the call for Christine Milne to be part of the Leaders Debates.

Yours,

Adam Bandt
