Dear friends of the rainforest,
"Water is life!" This is the cry of thousands of indigenous people and peasants who are currently streaming in to the Ecuadorian capital Quito. They are fighting for free access to this essential resource and for its status as a common good.
Ecuador's government is heedlessly promoting the mining industry which is threatening to engulf billions of litres per day. This could result in a dangerous lack of water in the neighbouring villages.
Please support the people of Ecuador in their fight for their livelihood.
Many thanks and best regards,
Guadalupe Rodríguez

Re: Ecuadorians fighting for access to water seek help
Re-tool the Entire Industrial Revolution. Strategy for clean water and freeing the access to pristine water that remains free forever.
Coal, gas, oil, and atomic energy is destroying the planets livability and therefore the last 48 years of eclogical green organic revolution has brought into being the hi and low tech tools to put in place wind, tidal, and solar power that transforms to electricity and is more power than can be used by society. No more blackouts. This non-pollution solution is given freely in natures kinder laws and provides work for all and forever more. End pollution wars, not endless wars for more and more pollution. Mining companies need to heed this new strategy for a clean non-polluted environment. So do the govts such as ALBA members, because the whole indigenous world needs to continue the organic web-of-life. Pollution is one of the greatest of all aggressive war crimes and biggest threat to the life of the planet. Workers of the world, unite!! Pollution is anti-workers and anti-union. You, yet have a world to win!!
