Tuesday Dec 20, 1:00pm – 2:00pm

The week December 16-21 marks the long awaited pre-trial of 24-year-old US army intelligence analyst Bradley Manning who is charged with leaking classified material to WikiLeaks.

Manning faces court-martial and a possible life sentence. His crime? He allegedly leaked the distressingly vivid Collateral Damagevideo to WikiLeaks, showing US soldiers killing 11 Iraqis, including two journalists, and wounding two children.

He has also been charged with sharing the “Iraq War Logs”, the “Afghan Diaries” and is suspected of releasing files exposing injustices at Guantanamo Bay.

These documents implicate the US and NATO forces in war crimes, human rights abuses and complicity in torture and corruption.

Bradley Manning has been in prison for over 18 months. For 10 months he was kept in solitary confinement, reportedly suffering humiliating and inhumane treatment under prison authorities. The US government continues to deny UN special rapporteur on torture Juan Mendez an un-monitored meeting with Bradley to assess these reports.

We believe that the crimes revealed in the WikiLeaks documents far outweigh any crime Bradley may have committed. It is wrong that he is punished while the perpetrators of war crimes and human rights abuses go un-investigated and unprosecuted.

Bradley Manning and Julian Assange are in solidarity with the anti-fascist pro-liberation side of building a worldwide free press, and new tech truthfull journalism.

They are heroes for exposing the false lying propaganda of the U.S. Imperialist Officials who are waging unjust war, illegal violence, and wrongly by militarization are occupying sovereign independent countries throughout the Holyland of the world.

For justice to take place these heroes must be feed and paid reparations for the unjust and illegal violence that they have been made to suffer.
