The universally unconstitutional war on drugs

The reversal of the onus of proof in drug-possession cases is incompatible with the rule of law and is therefore unconstitutional in all jurisdictions.

In the “war on drugs”, the presumption of innocence is not collateral damage. It is a deliberate target: if other people plant drugs on you (e.g. to avoid being busted themselves), you must prove that the drugs were planted (which you can’t). This situation is manifestly incompatible with the rule of law, because the power to convict — the most fearsome of all government powers — is effectively taken from the courts and given to those who are willing to plant evidence. There is no clearer case of a “government of laws” being usurped by a “government of men”.

The purported reversal of the onus of proof, being contrary to the rule of law, is unconstitutional for three reasons...

Just think of how profitable wars are.
Creating well payed jobs:
An estimated $ 12 billion on enforcement - millions on so-called scientific studies every year - millions on the [ health ] disease system - a few million on public relations campaigns - a few tens of millions thruout other charitable organisations-

There is no doubt, prohibition is very profitable for the state. !

The War on Drugs failed Billions of dollars ago! This money could have been used for outreach programs to clean up the bad end of drug abuse by providing free HIV testing, free rehab, and clean needles. Harmless drugs like marijuana could be legalized to help boost our damaged economy. Cannabis can provide hemp for countless natural recourses and the tax revenue from sales alone would pull every state in our country out of the red! Vote Teapot, PASS IT, and legalize it. Voice you opinion with the movement and check out my pro-cannabis art at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/01/vote-teapot-2011.html

Brant marijuana fucks your brain ever seen what full on dope smokers are like when they cant get a bong into them they are short temperd go off their heads at the slightest thing that goes against them, you have all met these people they are the ones that go nuts in traffic, road ragers, the only time they are normal is when they are stoned fuck that shit

marijuana is not safe and is directly linked to mental illness, namely schizophrenia, all other illicit drugs are linked to other mental illnesses such as bipolar and depression.
drugs are not safe and pollute the human organism and should not be legalised. if you had first hand dealings with drug addicts, saw lives destroyed and met with their illnesses face on and hands on, you would think twice, what needs to change is the victimless crimes act. there are many victims that pay the price of drug using. the government wants a fat tax for fast food for the so called obesity epidemic but is ignoring the drugs epidemic and the amount of wasted and early onset brain damage is caused by these drugs in the youth of today.

If they just shot everyone who takes or traffics drugs we would have reduced drugs by 75% and send the bill for the bullets to the family.
