30% of the ALP ranks during 2004 voted to end mandatory detention... I have been leaked information from within the ALP that there are dissenters at the Malaysian Solution, in sending 800 to Malaysia, there are ALP parliamentarians who were with Labor for Refugees, or who do not believe in the criminal racism of their ALP and need to know that we want them to break rank. The ALP is vicious on those who break rank unlike the latitude afforded Petro Georgiou and company from the Coalition. However politics is a calling and people need our parliamentarians to understand this.

Melissa Parke has a human rights law background and time in Gaza and her maiden speech is at odds with her parties current actions, and our actions are our words, the rest is crap - we cannot fall further into the trap of listening to parliamentarians who work off the record or behind the scenes to shape outcomes, this is just crap, it does not work. What will work is if a Melissa Parke, Louise Pratt, Chris Evans, and others create history, represent the tumult of our times, and change this ugly course the ALP and the Coalition are heading us to - people are breaking, broken, dying, have died, with more deaths to come.
