As far as the Muslim Brotherhood is concerned, as long as I cannot openly pursue my sacrament in their sacred lands it's a farce. Just like all the other groups that collaborated with the Nazis. No exemption. Honestly I believe Egyptians can render this one as irrelevant as the Marcel Lefevbre frat. Those bigots are worse than useless.

Thinking in terms of succession rather than of abolition distracts from the real challenge. The Muslim Brotherhood is only important because their torturers are still alive. But does it have to say anything about the future? When we face the fact that swapping personality cult for commercialism may reproduce the same poisoned "we know you better than you yourself" attitude that has - among others - hurt the Egyptian people for too long, does it offer any solution against that?

Most of the suggestions made have got to do exactly nothing with people's needs. They are developed out of the perspective of idiots trying to look down on a distorted representation of free thinking superior to their own. These guys may be the scare bogeyman of the day, but are they of any practical purpose against the surveillance regime? Or would they only reproduce it when they tried? There is more to abolition than kicking out one secret police for another - absolutely.
