The Amnesty International Melbourne Get Active Network are hosting a Trivia Night to help launch Amnesty’s Refugee Rights Campaign.
The Trivia Night will be an opportunity to engage the Melbourne public in de-bunking the myriad myths and misconceptions surrounding the issue of Asylum Seekers and Refugees in Australia, in an attempt to restore compassion to our treatment of those seeking asylum from persecution.
We hope that you can all come along, learn a little bit about our campaign and more importantly have some fun!
So brush up on your music, film, history, geography and general knowledge and come along to the Great Northern Hotel, 644 Rathdowne Street North Carlton on Monday 28th April at 6:30pm for a 7pm start. The winning team will be awarded the Jug of Justice - a jug of their preferred brew on tap at the Great Northern.
The Great Northern has a great selection of food and drinks, so we encourage you to come along and enjoy dinner and a drink. On Monday nights they offer a $12 chicken parma!!!!!
