Through personal stories and some of the most dramatic and disturbing video ever recorded, No Fire Zone exposes some of the worst crimes of recent times. In early 2009, 40-70,000 civilians were massacred.

The brutal repression and ethnic restructuring of the Tamil homelands in the north of Sri Lanka continues. That’s why we hope this film will serve as an international call for action.

The Australian state continues to incarcerate Tamil refugees indefinitely and in despicable conditions, or simply deports them back. In 2013 the Abbott government gifted Sri Lanka two patrol boats to intercept those fleeing danger.

Co-hosted with Aran Mylvaganam of Tamil Refugee Council.

Entry by gold coin donation to Tamil Refugee Council.

May 18th is Tamil Genocide Remembrance Day.

Resistance Cinema screens for social justice on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
