Rally and march highlight new Stolen Generation in Queensland and gain father his grieving rights

by Brisbane Sovereign Embassy, Musgrave Park on Wednesday, May 2 Aboriginal people and their supporters held a rally and march in Brisbane today (Wednesday 2 May) to highlight the continued genocidal practice of removing large numbers of Aboriginal children from their families and their culture.

There will be a large gathering of Aboriginal People on
28 MARCH, 2012
COMMENCING 11:00 AM
at the corner of Riverside Drive and Victoria Avenue
for a march to Parliament House .

The march route will be up St Georges Terrace,
stopping momentarily at the Office of Premier and Cabinet.

At Parliament House the speakers will address issues such as

Aboriginal Tent Embassy - New website launched

Aboriginal Tent Embassy will be massive and we need to be there on January 26 starting with the march from Alinga to Parliament at 9am

People will be coming from all over Australia and some from overseas and I and others from WA will be on our way to stand alongside - A number of social justice groups will be there in numbers with our banners calling loud for justice and for an end to tragic incarceration rates as Gerry Georgatos and Ray Jackson often describe on this site.
