Unofficial fourth branch of govewrnment usurps power

See my reports on the current ruling authorities of the United States of America.

The awful irony of our time is that the three official branches of government are now overthrown by the unofficial fourth branch, Administrative Agencies

Iceland's amazing and peaceful revolution - still not in the news

Iceland’s peaceful revolution is a stunning example of how little our media tells us about the rest of the world.
An article at WakeUpWorld says that “The Icelandic economy will outgrow the eurozone in 2012 and is set to outgrow the entire developed world on average, according to estimates.
Now Iceland is proceeding to actually prosecute some of their formerly most powerful bankers and the Icelandic special prosecutor has stated that it very well may indict some 90 people.

Foley's Folly

There’s a certain satisfaction that comes from knowing that the former South Australian treasurer for Mike Rann’s ALP government, Kevin Foley, is the now head of Foley Advisory - a consultancy firm for the development industry. A post-parliamentary career ‘advising’ developers (advising what exactly? How to assimilate development aspirations with government policy? How to cut re…) certainly seems to confirm criticisms that the Rann Government was resolutely pro-development industry. Maybe call this the ‘We told you so’ affectation.

"Deep into the eyes of racism" - Nyoongar Tent Embassy, Thursday March 22

Gerry Georgatos
Two of Nyoongar Tent Embassy's stalwarts had not been to the Embassy for more than a week. Dumbartung Aboriginal Corporation's Robert Eggington and John Pell were in Perth city on planning duties for the March 28 Stolen Wages march and rally when Mr Eggington was urged on by a spiritual sense and looked at Mr Pell, "Johnny, lets go to the Embassy."

To get the justice done, the splintered, shard-like "left" needs to coalesce

Gerry Georgatos

The compassionate left wing screams for social justice and argues for our governments and society's institutions to have a heart and help people from the bottom end up, and to desist with the proposition that they can achieve for the downtrodden by working from the top end of town and down.

The bona fide left wing is fractious and forever splintering and yet it calls out for groundswells of people power to coalesce in mass social movements which will give rise to cultural waves.

Labor's Right occupies national conference

The Right of the Labor party have totally dominated this year's National Conference. The small win on gay marriage was effectively nullified because a conscience vote in parliament is doomed to be defeated with the Liberal Party opposed to any change on this issue. Labor's conscience vote is effectively a "no" vote.

To the beleaguered league from the future

by Christian Bentley

It is easy to notice that we have two Coalitions in this country, as the ever so observing Mr. Abbott so politely feels the need to whine about to every corner of Australia.

But who cares? Both are incompetent. Both are unwilling to change for the better. Both are old, both are obsolete, both are clueless, and both are so desperate to cling on to every and any form of power that they have left, so much so as that they'd sell their souls to keep it.
