It is thoroughly sickening to behold the tragedy unfolding before us in Indonesia. Our entire nation is standing around befuddled, letting another nation commit atrocities against our citizens. And not just our citizens, but dozens of individuals from all around the world who have been caught by violent, murderous extremists in various banana republics and quasi-democratic totalitarian regimes.
Russia's patriotism is surging, from Cape Dezhnev to the Baltic sea, and Vladimir Putin is starting to answer calls to raise the stature of his nation to that of a former glory. After two decades of hibernation, it has become apparent that the Russian bear is beginning to stir once more.
Today at 1pm, more than 100 people gathered at the Hub in Newtown to protest against racism in the area.
Following several community demonstrations against a mural that says, “say no to burqas” at nearby Station Street, the group decided to go to the mural in opposition to this racist statement. Together residents threw paint and pasted anti-racism posters over the mural, made noise and held banners with the statements, “fascists off our streets” and “racists out of Newtown”.

11 July 2009, Athens, Greece: Comrades (and the media) report three important incidents:
First, someone fired a gun against the cops (no injuries).
Second, someone from his car fired gunshoots against immigrants, injuring three. They were taken to a hospital by an ambulance.
Third, fascists set multiple floors of a building occupied by homeless immigrants (the Efetio) on fire.
