Gembrook D.I.Y. Festival is run by the people at it for the people at it. It is a grass-roots festival that is about doing things for yourself rather than waiting or expecting someone else to do it for you. Hopefully there will be music, movies, workshops, home brew, art, etc but it is all up to you (as the people attending it, you are also the people running it).

If you are in a band and want to play, if you can run a workshop on making something, if you want to bring a half pipe or Foosball table, etc then we would love to hear from you. Send us an email at diyfest@activist.com and we will add it to the program or just bring stuff along and do it.

Re: Gembrook D.I.Y. Festival

The main camp site is at the corner of Beenak road (not Gembrook-Launching Place Rd) & Soldiers road, Gembrook. If there are a lot of other campers not associated with us we may set up camp around the corner (Up the scouts camp fire trail a little) but will be with in a 10 minute walk.
