27 Aug 15: ""This is a win for everyone": This morning the federal government announced a $5 million grant to the Aboriginal Housing Company on the condition they build the affordable housing at the same time as the commercial development. Indigenous Affairs Minister Nigel Scullion says the funds will will help the Aboriginal Housing Company secure the rest of the funding they need to build the housing. "This has been a very vexed issue - people have been divided in the area for a long time," he said.
