This week's show features stories from China Radio International, NHK Japan, Spanish National Radio, Radio Deutsche-Welle, and the Voice of Russia.
From CHINA- China's inflation rate was the highest last month in three years, and their government urged other nations to trim fiscal deficits and resolve debt problems. China is restricting the mining of rare earth minerals because of environmental consequences.
From JAPAN- It has been 5 months since the earthquake and nuclear catastrophe at Fukushima. On the anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki, the mayor made an appeal for a shift away from nuclear power. A rally was held in Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam for the 50th anniversary since US forces first sprayed Agent Orange on their lands.
From SPAIN- The economic crisis is having a negative effect on the popularity of politicians on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Then a Spanish press review on the London riots and the unprecedented demonstrations in Israel.
From GERMANY- An analysis from Tuesday on the underlying causes of the riots sweeping across London and other cities in England.
From RUSSIA- On the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Japan many are questioning the lack of interest the current American government has in stopping the development of nuclear weapons- and there were plans drawn up in 1996 to use so-called "small" nuclear bombs on Libya.

It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
