2SER wins national broadcasting award

2SER FM has won a national award for excellence at the annual Community Broadcasting conference in Hobart.

The stations women’s affairs program “Double X” won the category for Excellence in Spoken Word, News and Current Affairs Programming.

More than fifty stations across Australia were nominated as finalists.

Double X is a weekly half hour program, produced and presented by Rosie Lentini and a small team of dedicated volunteer journalists.

The program is part of an extensive line up of more than twenty specialist talks and current affairs programs broadcast each week.
